LOCALLY-owned JKB  Construction Ltd celebrated the opening of a new road over the weekend in Port Moresby.

The company was awarded the contract to construct the ring road access along Hodava Street at 3-Mile and

celebrated the completion of the project on Saturday.

JBK founder and director Nime Ause was happy with the outcome, saying they would be looking to do more work around the country.

“JBK Construction is looking forward to doing quality work in road construction around the country.”

Ause, from Chuave, in Chimbu, started the company in 2010 after he finished working with Hebou Construction.

The company’s administration officer, Tony Nime, said they were determined to provide the best service.

“The country deserves the best in terms of construction and needs quality work done to have the best roads,” he said.

JKB Construction’s first project outside of Port Moresby was the ring road in Chuave in 2011.
