THE Rosary Secondary School in Simbu province can send its old five-tonne truck into retirement.
The school just received a new six-tonne truck from Kerowagi MP Guma Wau.
The truck was bought for the school from public money allocated to Mr Wau for development purposes in his electorate.
The school also received 10 computer sets worth K20,000 from the MP.
He said since its establishment by the Catholic church, the school had been run well.
It started off as a catechist school and is now a secondary school.
Mr Wau said for Kerowagi district and Simbu province, the development of manpower resource was a top priority, because the province lacked natural resources like other “rich” provinces in the highlands.
The old five-tonne truck  was bought in 1994.
