New vehicle to boost service delivery

THE Sinivit local level government administration in Pomio, East New Britain has acknowledged two incorporated land groups (ILG) for paying their log levies.
Sinivit president Boniface Gerep said the two ILG companies had assisted the LLG in raising substantial revenue to aid its operations over the years.
Gerep said with the continuous support from the ILGs enabled the LLG to purchase a new vehicle for its smooth operation and to boost service delivery to the communities.
He said the vehicle cost at about K192,000 with counterpart funding from the Pomio Development Authority.
He commended the Imerkiligia ILG which has members from Putput to Marambu in the Sambam communities of Sinivit and the Gar-Merai ILG management for their support.
Gerep acknowledged the support from the development authority in assisting the LLG administration with purchasing a new vehicle for its smooth operation.
He urged public servants to look after the new vehicle and use it to serve the people.
