NGO launches new hotline for youth

NON-governmental organisation, Marie Stopes PNG, has established a new way to reach to the young people of Papua New Guinea through ‘Yangpela hotline’.
The hotline provides young adults with factual information and immediate answers to questions on sexual and reproductive health and similar issues such as unplanned pregnancy, sexually transmitted infections, gender equity, peer  pressure, alcohol, drug abuse and casual sex, sexual harassment/violence and adolescent sexuality.
Yangpela hotline can be reached by calling or texting to the number 7200 5314 from 8am to 10pm daily or email [email protected]
Funded by Unicef and operated and managed by Marie Stopes PNG, Yangpela hotline is an easy access service to provice advice and counselling for young adults with neglected sexual development needs
