A NON-government organisation in Western is seeking the assistance of private and public entities to run its programmes this year.

The Fly Human Development and Community Organisation is a non-profitable body that helps people on how to start small enterprises through the Government and National Development Bank.

It will run a self-reliance and financial education programme funded by Strongim Pipol Strongim Nation and the North Fly government this month.

Thirty people from each of the LLGs will receive training in their own dialects and they are expected to train others when they return to their wards.

Founder and coordinator, Francis Job said they badly needed a car because they were spending a lot on hiring vehicles. They need funding to continue the project.

The organisation would like to link up with Small Business Development Corporation and the National Development Bank to help people tap into the small and medium enterprises directly.

This is to ensure that people have more outlets and can benefit from their training.

The programme coordinator can be reached on 7004 1704 or email [email protected].
