THE Institute of Business Studies (IBS) continued their community support presenting 3,900 Trukai Fun Run T-shirts to nine different schools in the National Capital District.

In a brief ceremony at IBS hall, institute director Sadiq Ali gave the T-shirts to the following schools: Delasalle Secondary School (600), Hohola Youth Development Centre (600), Laloki High School (600), Kila Kila Seconday School (500), Kokpkop College (500), St Charles Luwanga Community School (400), Saint John’s School for the Blind (300) and Saint John’s Community School (300).

Ali said IBS were associated with Trukai Fun Run since 1998 and supported the initiative taken by the PNG Sports Federation and Olympic Committee (PNGSFOC) to raise funds for its national team to major international events.

He said they were the second highest bidder to the National Gaming Control Board for this year’s auction in Port Moresby last month.
