No change after pay rise

I AM an elementary teacher who has been teaching for more than 18 years.
I notice that something is not right with my salary.
In was good of the Government to acknowledge teachers across the country through a 3 per cent pay rise.
I noticed that despite getting an increase on my yearly annual gross salary, the fortnightly pay gross has remained the same as that of the previous year.
So there was no increase at all and the so-called pay rise was only on paper.
Can the Education department salary section elaborate on this?
