No crime since ban

 IT has already been three weeks since the betel nuts ban and I do not see or hear any news of crime or illegal activities performed.

So why are people still going against the ban and saying we should expect more crime? 

Ever since the ban came into effect, there are no more pickpockets or even prostitution and other forms of crime and Port Moresby looks safer and cleaner to live in than previously.
