I refer this statement of apology to Francis Kaupa, the former managing di­rector of Mineral Resour­ces Development Company Ltd over a comparison I made of his management with re­gards to investments before Augustine Ma­no became the mana­ging director of MRDC.
If my comments in the  article “Kutubu group backs Mano’s appointment” (Oct 24, page 14) have been offensive to Kau­pa, then I apologise. I meant no personal offence.
