No Muruks for Four Nations is a shock

I AM a diehard fan of the Mendi Muruks.
The players have been performing well in the last three years, producing some of the best players we see today in the bemobile Cup.
However, I am shocked to read that not a player from the team was selected for the Four Nations.
Can the PNGRFL selection team explain why?
PNG rugby league fans and diehard Muruk fans deserve an explanation.
If the Muruks can show PNG that they are consistently finishing among the top five in the tough bemobile Cup and winning the minor premiers or grand finals, it means the players are good.
The players are giving their best week in week out and the PNGRFL’s failure to recognise this fact will kill the code eventually.
For those who have been selected to wear the red, black and gold, congratulations and may you make PNG proud.
