Nurses going out as light and salt ‘the world wants to see’

THIRTY-four nurses graduated at the Kudjip Nazarene College of Nursing in Jiwaka on Saturday.
It was the college’s 44th Diploma in Nursing and fifth Certificate in Laity Ministry (pastor nurse) graduation. Church of the Nazarene Asia-Pacific regional education coordinator Dr John Moore encouraged them to live a Christ-like life.
“Be the light and salt that the world wants to see and taste. You are not just a nurse. You bring God with you in your profession,” he said.
Principal White Kintak said those who attended the college came as students and left as professionals. “We equip them medically, spiritually, physically and mentally,” he said.
The graduates pledged to be good ambassadors of the college.
