Taula met Vice-Chancellor Prof Frank Griffin, senior administrative staff and the executive deans and research staff last Tuesday and expressed his commitment to continuing the important liaison between the high commission and the university.
Discussions between the high commissioner and the university officials were in relation to issues such as scholarships, the exchange of academic staff and the provision of reciprocal opportunities for staff and student interaction between UPNG and New Zealand institutions.
Taula acknowledged the many UPNG staff who were alumni of New Zealand universities and expressed his wish to discuss a programme of postgraduate research and learning.
