NZ police to help Apec preparation

TWELVE New Zealand police officers will assist local police prepare for next year’s Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation meeting.
New Zealand High Commissioner Sue Mackwell announced their arrival and said  three more were expected to arrive early next year to work alongside their counterparts. New Zealand’s assistance will be specifically directed to build the capacity and capability of the local constabulary’s close-protection personnel.
