PRIME Minister Peter O’Neill has met church leaders from the Kad-Esh MAP Ministeries International of Eilat, Israel, in Port Moresby.
The Christian ministry operates from Israel and reaches out to other nations.
Church leaders led by ministry director Dr Dominquae Bierman, include Bishop Phylis Lines, Reverend Elizabeth George, Reverend Joseph Walters, Pastor  Charlie George and Pastor Mollie George.
O’Neill said he had invited the church leaders to “re-emphasise the country’s strong ties with Israel enhancing Christianity”.
He acknowledged the books written by Bishop Bierman that aimed to restore the church “to its original Apostolic Jewish foundations”.
“Her work is inspirational and restores the true Gospel as it was preached by the Jewish Apostles 2,000 years ago,”he said.
The church leaders visited Western and Southern Highlands recently.
“Bishop Bierman has been one of the Christian leaders who has spearheaded the movement of restoration of the Sephardic Jews to their identity lost during the Spanish Inquisition and bringing them back to their promised home, the Negev Desert. Multitudes of them are being restored as she preaches God’s Word,” O’Neill said.
