O’Neill to launch plan

 PRIME Minister Peter O’Neill will launch the Goilala district five-year development plan on Monday.

A statement from Goilala MP Daniel Mona said O’Neill would inspect a guard of honour involving soldiers, police and prison officers.

O’Neill is expected to be accompanied by Sports Minister Justin Tkatchenko, Central Governor Kila Hoada and other dignitaries.

The statement said the launching of the district plan would coincide with the 38th Independence Day anniversary celebrations.

O’Neill will also launch the district office complex and the BSP ATM and Eftpos service in the district.

He will also visit government facilities, health centre and attend the high school cultural show.
