O’Neill urged to stop funding PMIZ

PRIME Minister Peter O’Neill is urged to stop all funding for the Pacific Marine Industrial Zone in Madang and appoint a land title commission to investigate and verify legitimate landowners.
The Vidar landowners from Bomase village in Rempi, Sumkar along north coast made the call after noting several groups were forming landowner companies to claim land.
The Bomase villagers raised their concern through Bama Haya Development Corporation Ltd, requesting O’Neill to immediately establish a commission to investigate genealogy, history, boundary and colonial land court documents.
