OC must reveal case outcome

I REFER to the paid press release by Goroka MP Bire Kimisopa in The National yesterday. The statement mentioned a particular case referred to the Ombudsman Commission some years back for an investigation into a 60-days parliament sitting matter. I ask the Ombudsman Commission to publish the outcome of that particular case for every citizen to see. Otherwise, the proposed independent investigation into the shooting of the UPNG students is another tactic by the Ombudsman Commission to win public trust when it has lost direction to address serious issues. Many of our leaders are no longer fit and capable of holding their high offices as a result of the current crises which they have failed to address. And if the OC has acted long ago to remove all these unfit leaders then we would not have gone down this path today.
