THREE Papua New Guinea Defence Force soldiers recently graduated from the Australian Royal Military College in Canberra, Australia as commissioned officers.

They are second lieutenants Derek Levi, Denzel Kasa and Henry Worinuwe.

The trio were commissioned as second lieutenants last month and will be posted to different battalions.

They completed an 18-month intensive officer cadet training with Australian cadets at the Royal Military College.

The general service officer course comprises three classes, each of six months duration.

The training at Australia’s premier officer training institute is considered intense and demanding and prepares cadets for military careers by promoting learning, leadership and integrity.
