Officials still confused

National

THE superannuation notice to employees is still confusing, hence Nambawan Super officers are not adequately informed on how to execute the Government’s instructions.
Who is eligible to access the promised funds?

  • PUBLIC servants who went off pay when the RODSS were not actioned this year?
  • PUBLIC servants who are not on payroll but have continued to work prior to the coronavirus pandemic?
  • PUBLIC servants who are suspended from work?
  • PUBLIC servants who have retired?
  • PUBLIC servants who are still on payroll and need something extra to support themselves and their families?
  • OR all of the above?

Public servants are confused and are becoming restless and anxious to get the correct information.
The Government has to clarify this in detail then release another notice to superannuation contributors.
It is not fair for others who will not be able to benefit from it while others are considered.
Or all the above can be considered and categorised into groups with funds specifically allowed to them as per their current situation.
Secondly, why did all public servants not receive what the Government promised concerning their salaries and taxes this pay?
It was supposed to be effected on April 1 and end on April 30.
Whose fault is this?

  • I agree to that we really need proper clarification on this to all the above in this times of real need.

  • Totally agree. All public servants should be paid. After all, everyone is affected by the coronavirus.
