Oil Search, Ywam win top praise

I THANK Oil Search and the Ywam team in Gulf who helped save the life of my brother Koivi Ipai when he was attacked with a knife by a youth from Olavi village (Koravake).
The assailant was armed with a long bush knife and he used it to chop off four fingers from my brother’s right hand.
With the help of the Ywam team that was in Baimuru that day, Koivi and a guardian were transported to Kikori.
The next day, Oil Search helped fly him to Port Moresby General Hospital for treatment.
Thank you both for saving lives in Gulf.
The government and Oil Search should consider the people of Gulf who may have similar problems because Gulf does not have a good hospital.
I also commend Oil Search for its strong policy on health safety, which has been in place since 2008 and which is helping save lives, not only in Gulf, but in the whole of Papua New Guinea.
