MARRIAGE as we all know is basically the ceremony in which two people (obviously each from opposite sexes) are joined together formally in marriage.
According to the bible (Genesis 1:27, 28), marriage is holy because it was blessed and sanctified by God himself.
The act of marriage is the source of any nation, races or groups of people on earth, therefore in the past it is valued and viewed not as an event but a process which requires proper planning and preparations by our ancestors.
However, this view is no longer held at present by people of all ages.
As a result the moral values of marriage are depreciating and adultery and fornication is becoming a norm of our society.
And these problems are giving the government and other concerned NGOs a hard time to address.
But in fact, those are not problems, they are the results of a problem, and that problem is failure to view marriage like it has been viewed and valued in the past.
Therefore, the government and the concerned NGOs must not waste their effort and energy in the form of money and time on addressing the results of the problem but must solve the problem itself.
If young people of reasonable ages are counselled and taught the importance of marriage and are urged to view and value marriage like it was viewed and valued in the past, we would see positive results and would have less problems to solve like what we have right now.
