Olkebens the right man for Hela job

 HELA provincial executive council (PEC) has recommended Lawrence Olkebens  as  the  provincial  administrator based on merits.

He is one of the best senior public servants in PNG. 

He was an accountant for  Oil Search  Ltd  for more than 15 years before being appointed treasurer for the Southern Highlands provincial government  for another 15 years or more. 

He was also the administrator of SHP in 2011. 

I thank Hela Governor Anderson Agiru and its PEC members for having the confidence and trust in Olkebens to be the new  administrator. 

I hope the national executive council makes the final endorsement based on the PEC’s recommendation.
