O’Neill acknowledges Apec meeting sponsors

PRIME Minister Peter O’Neill last night thanked the nine platinum sponsors and knowledge partner of the Apec CEO Summit 2018 during a dinner in Port Moresby.
O’Neill and the Apec Business Advisory Council of PNG thanked the platinum sponsors for their support of the Apec and business advisory council meetings and initiatives.
The council is the private-sector arm of Apec.
Its members are appointed by leaders of the 21 Apec economies.
O’Neill thanked each sponsor and spoke about the huge opportunities Apec would bring to the economy and the people.
He presented each platinum sponsor and knowledge partner plaques.
Isikeli Taureka, chairman of the Apec CEO Summit 2018 and advisory council member, praised the hard work of the council’s PNG team.
Oil Search managing director Peter Botten, on behalf of the knowledge partner and platinum sponsors, thanked O’Neill for hosting the dinner and acknowledging the contributions of the sponsors.
“As a proud PNG company, we are committed to the success of Apec and ABAC PNG,” Botten said.
