O’Neill best performing PM

Letters

FORMER prime minister Peter O’Neill’s slogan ‘Wok mas go yet’ has made him the best performing prime minister to many grassroots of this country.
The Tuition Free Fee (TFF) policy relieved parents from paying high tertiary fees.
With the policy, O’Neill built more schools and allowed more girls to be educated.
With District Services Improvement Programme (DSIP) & Provincial Services Improvement Programme (PSIP), he built more roads, bridges, aid posts and classrooms in the 89 districts in the country than any other prime minister.
In 2018, O’Neill exposed PNG to the world when he hosted the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (Apec) meeting that brought benefits to our economy.
He visited more districts and electorates.
As such, the current Treasurer Ian Ling-Stuckey should stop criticising O’Neill and the previous government because his boss PM James Marape was trained and exposed in politics by the Ialibu-Pangia MP. Well done O’Neill.
