Online selection ‘inconsiderate’

THERE are so many reasons why the online selection is a failure.
Firstly, it is a complicated process and expensive for students to go online to mark their choices.
They will need a smart phone or a computer and purchase data before going online in which most ordinary parents cannot afford.
Secondly, in remote schools where there is limited internet access, how would you expect them to go online?
That is unacceptable.
Finally, many illiterate parents and some sponsors do not understand the purpose of internet for online selection.
Unlike in the past where students brought their School Leavers Form (SLF) to their parents and discussed before filling it.
Those who agree with the online selection are selfish and have no concern for the less fortunate.
