Online TT service issue resolved: BSP

BANK South Pacific (BSP) says the issue concerning the bank’s Telegraphic Transfer (TT) online service has been resolved.
Group chief executive officer Robin Fleming said this after concerns were raised by customers that the service had been out for some time.
TT is an electronic means of transferring funds.
“Our online platform is working and is not experiencing any issues,” Fleming told The National yesterday.
“There was a planned system maintenance upgrade over the weekend (normally between 1am Saturday and 4am Sunday) and these will occur from time to time.
“Some customers may have had problems with their one time password tokens but generally these are replaced immediately upon request.
“We did experience issues last year but the performance problems have largely been resolved.
“Unfortunately, from time to time, BSP, like all banks, needs to update tax clearance data and personal identification data for some individual clients which can result in access for those customers being temporarily restricted until this is completed.”
Fleming said there was a daily limit of up to K25,000 (depending on the customer) and subject to tax clearance threshold not having been exceeded and remittance meeting exchange control requirements.
