Open market to help people

Letters

THE people of ward six area in Port Moresby’s North East are facing a hard time and demand local MP John Kaupa to open the market soon.
Most of the people’s livelihood depend on this market.
The market has been upgraded with the district services improvement programme funds and should open without delay as mothers sell there to earn their living.
More than half of the population there are vagrants and make their living through this market.
The building and other infrastructure have been completed.
It doesn’t look good when mothers are standing with fear selling their items in the heavy rain along the roadside at 6-Mile.
