THE 2015 Pacific Games Organising Committee and the Pacific Games Council have expressed satisfaction at the outcome of the first ever All Sports meeting held in Port Moresby over the weekend to prepare for the delivery of the sports competitions during the Pacific Games next year.
The GOC organised the two-day meetings for the 28 national sports federations whose codes were represented in the Pacific Games and their technical delegates who had been assigned by the International Sport Federations.
The meeting had delegates from around the Pacific.
Chairperson Emma Waiwai told participants at the close over the weekend that the GOC was happy to have initiated the gathering and thanked the Pacific Games Council for its endorsement as this was a critical part for the planning of competitions in the Games.
PGC president Vidhya Lakhan President said he was pleased with the committee’s progress.
