Oro needs to grow

Letters, Normal

WE are already in the middle of a five-year term and yet Oro province lacks development in all sectors of public services.
Our governor and the two Members of Parliament are not making any impact in their respective electorates.
We hardly hear them making noise in the newspapers, radio or TV.
Remote airstrips and health centres have remained closed while schools are not functioning and there are no rural roads.
The state of Popondetta town has gone from bad to worse, the town is filthy, telecommunication unreliable and public servants are hardly in office to attend to the people.
The governor and his two MPs have a lot to learn from NCD Governor Powes Parkop and Bulolo MP Sam Basil.
Law and order is an issue, and unemployment is at an all-time high.
There is hardly any investment in the province for more than 20 years.
The governor and the two MPs have been given the mandate by the people of Oro province to serve, lead and deliver goods and services.
Don’t be a spectator.
