ORO striker Patrick Aisa will be the man to watch when they host Madang at the Correction Institution Training Oval at Bomana, outside Port Moresby, tomorrow.

The Oro-Madang match is the main fixture of the National Soccer League’s double header scheduled for the city this weekend.

The opening match will see Hekari face another tough match against home side, FC Port Moresby.

Aisa, one of the most underrated strikers in the competition, donned the black-and-gold in the Under-20 youth tournament last year.

He started his NSL career with Eastern Stars, attracting a lot of attention from franchise owners.

Oro coach Joe Turia will be counting on him and Henry Ronney when they take on the winless Madang outfit.

The Oro provincial government-sponsored franchise is running hot on the NSL front.

They are the team to follow and have a fair shot at making the final. Oro is a well-balanced team having experience and youth —and with veteran Gary Moka at striker, Kohu Liem at midfielder and seasoned campaigner Ian Yanum as skipper, they should give the visitors a good run for their money.

Players to watch when they take on the Madang side are backline pillar Campbell Misirait, Jacob Sabua and Aisi, who can keep his opponents guessing with his footwork when in attacking position.

Otherwise, Madang  have not registered any wins and will be ravenous to beat Oro.

Team manager Tweedy Malagian and skipper Max Sengum urged all supporters to back them as they take on Oro.

Sengum said they have the best players, but they needed to score goals and that is something coach Francis Moiyap has been working on in preparation for tomorrow’s match.

Flying Fox striker Alwin Komolong needs support up front and would require help from midfielders Sengum and Darren Steven.

Both games will be interesting. In the local derby at the Sir Ignatius Kilage Stadium, Lae City Dwellers  will have a hard time against a young Besta outfit.

Besta only needs to destroy Lae’s mainstay combination of Raymond Gunemba and Nigel Dabinyaba to have a chance at collecting the points.

Admiralty is on bye.
