Others told to keep out of highway talks

National, Normal

PEOPLE trying to interfere with the ongoing dialogue between the Highlands Highway landowners from Chimbu and the national government have been told to mind their own business or have lawsuits filed against them.

Concerned landowners, represented by their chairman Thomas Barry said that they do not want any illegal group with vested interests or rogue state officers from the province to indulge in their dialogue and cause factions.

The group said the Highlands Highway is a national issue just like the PNG LNG project and will spill out of hand if illegal third parties play politics with the genuine landowners.
