Our cops face stiff challenge

THE critics and comments against the police in the last two weeks are very true and they appear to go from bad to worse.
The government cannot continue to turn a blind eye on this department.
Despite challenging si­tuations our policemen and women are facing, they still continue to serve the people.
What the public sees and comments on is true.
The police are aware what the people are facing but can only do their best to serve the people with what they have.
In my view, I think the people who are criticising and commenting against police are looking at one side of the coin only. 
They should see the othe­r side too.
I call on the constabulary to keep up the good work.
The majority of the people are with you and don’t forget the saying “when the going gets tough, the tough get going”.
You may not stop crime and disorder everywhere at the same time but at least your presence at the critical situation brings a sense of relief to us.
