MORE than 100 young people, a village councillor and a magistrate were baptised in a week-long national crusade held by Holy Spirit Movement Ministries Worldwide Churches in Mul-Baiyer District, Western Highlands.
Pastor Steven Konga said the whole Kyakin tribe surrendered their lives to God during the crusade last month at which 106 people were baptised.
“We are thankful that God has a plan to redeem this tribe,” he said.
“The young people signify the future of the community while magistrate and councillor represents law and order and leadership of the community.
“The community dedicated themselves to God and promised to live according to the guidance and the peace of God.”
President of the ministry Pr Clement Tep told the baptised youths and community leaders to live according to the word of God.
