ABOUT 100 people have been trained in motor mechanics, carpentry, tourism and hospital and computing in Hela recently.
Hela Hewate Multi Skills Training Institute principal David Angobe said his aim was to train as many people from province.
“The institute is giving a new hope to the people who are at home.
“This institute is open to anyone who wishes to study because we see that Hela has potential to face bigger developments,” Angobe said.
He said he expected the number of intakes to increase this year.
Angobe also wanted to change the image of the province.
