Paga Panthers beat Royals

THE Paga Panthers secured a 12-6 win over Royals in round three of the Port Moresby Rugby Football League premier competition at Oil Search National Football Stadium.
Panthers halfback Billy Opa took an early penalty kick to take a two-point lead before they scored a converted try through five-eighth Peter Pagali.
The Royals fought back with lock Cliffy Denge crossing over for their first try. Centre Gatsby David converted the extras to trail 6-8 at halftime.
Royals skipper and second-rower Junior Yambe led a strong second-half performance but handling errors let them down.
