COMPETITION leaders Paga Panthers maintained their dominance with a 16-4 victory over Royals in round 24 of the Port Moresby Rugby League women’s competition at the National Football Stadium on Saturday.
With one round remaining and deferred matches to be played, Paga are on 39 points — four more than second-placed Sisters.
Paga and Souths were named joint winners in last season’s grand final after playing out a draw.
Centre Naomi Kaupa and Vero Waula led the young Royals outfit, who were unable to claw their way back into the contest.
Meanwhile, sisters celebrated their new uniforms in style with a 10-6 win over Hohola Flies.
