THE parents of seven-year-old Joseph Tonga from Gera in Chimbu have been looking for him.

Billy Tonga and wife Jacqueline have been searching for their son since he disappeared on Easter Sunday from their home at Bundi Camp in Lae, Morobe.

Tonga, an employee of Consort shipping company in Lae, said Joseph refused to accompany them to the Easter church service at Kamkumung on the Butibam Road and stayed back at home.

When they returned after church, the boy was not home so they thought he had gone out to play with other children and that he would return later.

But when he didn’t go back, they began their search.

“Joseph was wearing white Nike shoes, short blue jeans and a white T-shirt with black stripes,” Tonga said.

They have reported the case to police and appealed to the public to call on 7325 4595 if they see Joseph.
