THE Saint Paul’s Catholic parish in Gerehu has witnessed significant events since last weekend.

Parishioner Jonathan Tuka said the series of events lasted three days since Saturday.

“On Saturday, the students, teachers and parents of St Paul’s primary school did a clean-a-thon from Renbo to Gerehu. Then on Sunday, the St Paul’s church held its feast day. Now on Monday, we celebrate the opening of St Paul’s Day Clinic,” Tuka said.

“These are three significant events that the parish is involved in and we are proud and grateful to be part of them.

“We have experienced the three significant events under the stewardship and leadership of our parish priest Father John Romi.”

Tuka, who is a board member for the St Paul’s Primary School, said the events occurred in line with the parish’s five-year plan to incorporate the five bodies that come under the parish.

The five bodies include St Paul’s Primary School, St Anne’s Elementary School, St Paul’s Clinic, Callan Services for people living with disabilities and Elementary School and the St. Paul’s church.
