Parkop should make his stand known

Letters

WHILE we appreciate National Capital District Governor Powes Parkop’s contribution of K50,000 towards sorcery-related violence in Southern Highlands and Enga, it was reported that his son’s wife was arrested and charged with assault, abduction and robbery in relation an attack on another woman, as reported in The National yesterday.
Why can’t the public relay behind the victim?
Since this case concerns his family, can Parkop come out and tell us his stand?
As an advocate against violence, he should come out and make his stand known so the public knows that he is not taking sides.
