Parliament adjourns

PARLIAMENT has been adjourned to next Tuesday because of a lack of quorum yesterday.
Prime Minister Peter O’Neill and his ministers were attending a government caucus meeting to discuss the Supreme Court decision staying a parliament decision to suspend Chief Justice Sir Salamo Injia and Justice Nicholas Kirriwom.
Speaker Jeffrey Nape, who walked in at about 10.30am to an empty chamber, was forced to adjourn parliament to next week.
