Parlt to view recommendations on how to conduct elections
RECOMMENDATIONS on how to conduct national and local level government elections are expected to be tabled in Parliament by June, an official says.
Constitutional Law Reform Commission acting Secretary Dorothy Mimiko Kesenga said they would finalise the recommendations after a nationwide consultative process to see what are the best processes and systems.
Kesenga said a team taking part in an 18-month exercise would come up with a final report containing proposals for legislative reforms. The exercise is managed by Dr Eric Kwa, the Secretary of the Department of Justice and Attorney-General. He was a former secretary of the commission.
