Participants share Japan experience

Education

LOCAL student participants of the Jenesys student exchange programme 2019 shared their experiences of the Japanese culture at a presentation held recently at the University of Papua New Guinea (UPNG).
Initiated in 2013, the Jenesys programme is an annual student exchange programme sponsored by the Japanese government to promote Japanese culture to the Asia-Pacific region.
Students who took part in this culture defining programme were from the UPNG, Divine Word University and the Pacific Adventist University.
They conducted this session to share their experiences of Japan and encourage fellow university students especially in their second or third year of studies to apply for the exchange programme and learn about Japanese culture and history.
