THE Christian Democratic Party will work closely with churches to ensure basic services such as health and education are delivered in rural areas, party leader Kelly Naru says.
Naru, who became party leader early this year said churches played an important role in the country in terms, of service delivery and CDP would forge a stronge partnership with them.
Naru, the Morobe Governor, spoke at a party fundraising dinner last Saturday.
“When we take office, we will work closely with the churches to promote God’s business in education and health sector,” he said.
“One of the key areas that have contributed to real growth and towards enhancing the spiritual and physical wellbeing of the people is partnership with our churches.”
