Paska, a worrior of the workers

Letters

IT is with deep regret that we now see a strong voice for the oppressed and low-skilled workers go. The resignation of highly respected trades union congress secretary John Paska needs to be treated with the highest honours and recognition reserved for the best.
Paska sacrificed his life to fight for the rights of thousands ofworkers over many years.
I call on the Government to honour this leader in a fitting way, like a knighthood or scholarship scheme with his immediate children the first beneficiaries.
Paska and family, thank you for giving your best to many of us in the workforce across PNG who would have otherwise not had a voice.
May God bless you in your future endeavour.
