A SENIOR pastor representing East Sepik Ministers Fraternal is calling on all churches nationwide to come together in faith and pray for a steady government so that the country does not end up in political chaos.
Pr Robert Augustine appealed to all church pastors to fast and pray together for peace among political leaders instead of having one or two people hijacking the Constitution and causing unrest in local communities.
He said the nation was going through many difficulties and “we have to pray for the government to have peace among themselves, in their decisions and their political conduct”.
Some pastors left Wewak on Tuesday to meet with other pastors in Lae to conduct combined fasting for what the nation was facing.
