A PASTOR in the nation’s capital has called on police to resolve the infighting between its members and focus on working together for the nation.
Pastor Daniel Hewali, chairman of the Faith-Based Organisations said infighting between members of the police force was dangerous to PNG, especially when the general election was close.
“I want this matter put to rest so that the force will go and help conduct a fair election to elect God-fearing leaders,” he said.
“It was very unprofessional and unethical for police officers to attack their own colleagues like that.”
Hewali was concerned that this is happening with the law enforcing arm of the government.
“The people expect to live in peace,” he said.
