Pastor: Future in hands of children, groom them well

THE hope of East New Britain and Papua New Guinea is not in the hands of politicians, public servants and parents but in children, says coordinator of Destiny Schools Pastor Gabbie Bubu.
Students of the Vunakalkalulu Transformation International Destiny School in the Livuan-Reimber local level government of Gazelle District held an end of year ceremony last Friday.
Thirteen children were given childhood learning certificates.
Bubu said the school was established so that parents could take responsibility for the children’s education.
Bubu said early childhood learning was a good foundation for children’s education.
“Children need to be groomed well and impart God’s words in their lives so that when they grow up they become God-fearing citizens of this nation,” said Bubu.
Destiny Transformation international schools were established in ENB in 2006. There are 19 schools in ENB.
Its vision is to promote and provide better foundation education for children, to raise the level of literature in communities, improve learning abilities of children so that there can be change in communities.
