PAU opens business complex

A BUSINESS complex has been opened at the Pacific Adventist University to cater for students pursing business courses and other streams.
It was built from K10 million from the Australian Government through its Incentive Fund grants programme. It was the brainchild of former Vice-Chancellor Ben Thomas who in 2008, when he started his teaching career at PAU as the Dean for School of Business, noticed students being turned away because of lack of space.
He said some of the students who were turned away had good marks but there was no room.
“The new business complex is a result of that,” he said.
The new facility has increased the number of students enrolled from 1500 to 3000.
