Pawson assumes role at Kina Securities, Kina Bank

GREG Pawson has started as chief executive of Kina Securities Ltd (KSL) and Kina Bank.
KSL had announced on June 27 that Pawson had extensive banking and financial experience having held senior management positions at Westpac, BT financial group and colonial.
Pawson also held a number of high-profile positions including three years as president of the Australia-PNG, Australia-Fiji and Australia-Pacific Islands business councils.
He will be appointed as managing director on Jan 1.
Sydney Yates will retire from his role as managing director of KSL on Jan 2.
