Pay NID officers

I acknowledge acting Register-General of PNG National Identification (PNGNID) Michael Kumung for cleaning the rubbish in that office.
I commend the new management for looking at staff welfare.
This is the main cause of past non-productivity, assets missing and so on.
Staff have not been looked after well since establishment of this office.
They have not been paid for up to two months or more at times.
Employees cannot be paid after more than a month in a demanding city like Port Moresby.
Please liaise with Department of Personnel Management to have all PNGNID staff on payroll, paid on fortnightly basis and contribute to super.
Only after these are done will the target of registering 1.5 million PNG citizens by the end of this year will be realised.
